How to choose the right shade of The Neutralizer Pencil
Bobbi says that when you choose your neutralizer shade, you need to remember that it’s not intended to match the colour of your skin when applied.
First you need to identify your skin tone – whether it is fair, light, medium or dark/deep. Next you need to identify the colour of your discolouration from blue/purple/red or green/grey/brown.
Choose a pink shade – blue/purple/red discolouration
Choose a peach shade – green/grey/brown discolouration
I personally think that shade Fair Peach works really well on my under eyes and also on any hyperpigmentation.
My Review of Jones Road The Neutralizer Pencil
I first tried this on a zoom with Bobbi before they launched. The first shade I was sent was Fair Peach and this is a really good shade for me. I only need the tiniest bit on the inner corner of my eyes, and over my dark spots, to really even out my complexion.
It has a lovely creamy texture that transfers on to the skin effortlessly directly from the pencil and then a few taps blend it in to the skin seamlessly. I think this can actually be enough on no makeup days, as it isn’t wildly different from my natural skin tone, and for a more flawless finish, any concealer layers over easily and you only need a small amount.
